Dengue: 3 more die, 829 hospitalized in 24hrs

At least four people were killed and 10 others were injured following a collision between a bus and a truck on the Bangabandhu expressway in Surjanagar area of Shibchar upazila in Madaripur on Thursday night.
The accident took place around 7:45pm.
Abdullah Al Mamun, upazila nirbahi officer of Shibchar upazila, confirmed the matter.
The accident took place when the Barisal-bound “Hanif paribahan” collided with the truck, leaving two dead and 12 injured on the spot.
Among them, two injured died on the way to hospital.
The identities of the victims could not be known immediately, said Md Shakil, officer-in-charge of Shibchar highway police station.
